Originally featured on the webcomic series Everyday Cute, creators Clare Belton and Andrew Duff could not have anticipated how popular this little grey tabby cat would become. Pusheen was based on Belton's childhood cat and featured alongside their dog Carmen. Her name, which was given to her after her adoption from a shelter, stems from the Irish word puisín, which translates to kitten in English. Pusheen has starred in her own blog since February 2011 and just four years later, she has garnered nearly 9 million likes on Facebook!

Pusheen has now partnered with GUND to bring you a fantastic new range of Pusheen plush toys. GUND is a name you may recognise around these parts, as they are also producing high quality plushes such as Sesame Street, Uglydoll and fellow internet sensation Grumpy Cat! Launched in the new year, GUND is the only official licensee of Pusheen soft toys.

She's available in a variety of different sizes and forms. The small plushes are available in four cute colours whereas the slightly bigger plushes stand at 23cm tall and all holding their favourite snacks. There's also the one-off Pusheenicorn, a flamboyant tabby unicorn as the name might suggest! Every toy is equally chubby, squishy and lovable and super soft.
